The FCC has voted to enforce net neutrality, will regulate ISPs under the Communications Act

At the tail end of 2014, the President of the United States, Barack Obama, issued a statement that supported net neutrality. In February of this year, it was reported that the Federal Communications Commission would propose stronger net neutrality rules, following plenty of backlash from earlier in the year.
