The film made its debut this week at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.</p> <!--break--> <p>The film was directed by acclaimed filmmaker Alex Gibney. who previously directed documentaries such as 'Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room', 'We Steal Secrets: The Story of Wikileaks', and 'The Armstrong Lie'. His latest movie is "Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood, and the Prison of Belief.'</p> <p>'The Man in the Machine' is said to be an honest and often critical look back at Jobs's life and career. According to Deadline (http://deadline.com/2015/03/magnolia-cnn-download-rights-to-alex-gibneys-doc-on-steve-jobs-1201393073/):</p> <p>Magnolia acquired theatrical, VOD and home entertainment rights and CNN Films has the television broadcast distribution rights. Magnolia has distributed seven of Gibney's films.</p><p>There's no word on when the film will get a general release to the public.
