The drive supports sustained data transfer speeds of up to 1350MB/s, and because it's a Thunderbolt drive, it of course supports daisy chaining multiple Thunderbolt devices together.<!--break--> It also features variable fan speed for quiet cooling.</p> <p>The aluminum enclosure comes in two storage capacity. For $2,999 you'll get a 4TB SSD, while $4,799 will net you 8TB of storage. Both versions will be available for order at some point this summer.</p> </div></div></div><img width='1' height='1' src='(http://tipb.com.feedsportal.com/c/33998/f/616881/s/455c1e34/sc/28/mf.gif)' border='0'/><br clear='all'/> <a href="http://da.feedsportal.com/r/224851490988/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/455c1e34/sc/28/rc/1/rc.htm" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://da.feedsportal.com/r/224851490988/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/455c1e34/sc/28/rc/1/rc.img" border="0"/> <a href="http://da.feedsportal.com/r/224851490988/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/455c1e34/sc/28/rc/2/rc.htm" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://da.feedsportal.com/r/224851490988/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/455c1e34/sc/28/rc/2/rc.img" border="0"/> <a href="http://da.feedsportal.com/r/224851490988/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/455c1e34/sc/28/rc/3/rc.htm" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://da.feedsportal.com/r/224851490988/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/455c1e34/sc/28/rc/3/rc.img" border="0"/> <img src="http://da.feedsportal.com/r/224851490988/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/455c1e34/sc/28/a2.img" border="0"/> (http://da.feedsportal.com/r/224851490988/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/455c1e34/sc/28/a2.htm)<img width="1" height="1" src="http://pi.feedsportal.com/r/224851490988/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/455c1e34/sc/28/a2t.img" border="0"/><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/TheIphoneBlog/~4/oAYy06YMxKI" height="1" width="1" alt=""/> Source: OWC introduces Viper Pro external SSD with Thunderbolt 2 support (http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/TheIphoneBlog/~3/oAYy06YMxKI/story01.htm) |
