The Knock app (http://www.knocktounlock.com/) was always a simple and nifty idea. Install a bit of software on your Mac and then purchase the company’s $5 iOS app (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/knock-unlock-your-mac-your/id692929970?mt=8&amp;at=11l4Hv&amp;ct=Unattributed).
