Periscope now helps you find live broadcasts around the world

<div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><p class="intro">Twitter's Periscope live streaming app has been updated to help users find streams to watch from all around the world.</p> <p>Periscope, the recently-launched (http://www.imore.com/periscope-twitters-app-live-streaming-your-iphone-now-available) live streaming app owned by Twitter (http://www.imore.com/twitter), has been updated to version 1.1, adding the ability to find streams to watch around the world.<!--break--> The new Map section, accessed by tapping the globe on the app's toolbar, will show you live broadcasts in different countries, either on a map or in a list.</p> <p>In addition to the new map section, Periscope allows you to view replays as soon as a broadcast is over, rather than waiting for it to upload. Check out all of the new features in Periscope 1.1 in this list:</p>

<ul><li>New 'Map' section added to Periscope which lets you explore live broadcasts from around the world on a zoomable map. Tap 'Map' from the 'Global' section to access a live view of top location-enabled broadcasts from around the world.</li> <li>Replays are now instantly available - no need to wait for a replay to upload after broadcasting (you may still delete a replay from the 'Home' feed).</li> <li>You can now share the link to a broadcast you're watching on Twitter.</li> <li>Periscope is now localized in 29 languages: English, Japanese, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Korean, Russian, Turkish, Portuguese, Dutch, Indonesian, Simplified Chinese, Danish, Finnish, Polish, Norwegian, Swedish, Thai, Arabic, Czech, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Malay, Romanian, Traditional Chinese, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.</li> </ul>
