Apple is reportedly 'close' to securing broadcast networks for online TV service

After some earlier setbacks (http://www.macworld.com/article/2925841/apples-streaming-tv-service-might-not-be-imminent-after-all.html), Apple may once again be firming up plans for its long-rumored streaming TV service.</p><p>
Sources tell the New York Post (http://nypost.com/2015/07/13/apple-networks-progressing-in-talks-over-cable-killer-tv-app/) that the major broadcast networks are “close” to agreements with their local station affiliates, allowing the networks to negotiate with Apple on the affiliates' behalf.
