The Apple Watch does support ‘smart bands’ for health data, but that’s not slowing development of Apple Watch 2

On August 21, a report surfaced that once again pointed to “smart bands” for the Apple Watch being on the way, with the report indicating that these bands could mean Apple is not planning on a yearly refresh for the Watch proper.
