<div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><p><a href='http://www.imore.com/you-can-now-spend-30-each-transaction-using-apple-pay-uk' title="You can now spend £30 on each transaction using Apple Pay in the UK"><img src='http://www.imore.com/sites/imore.com/files/styles/large_wm_brw/public/field/image/2015/07/apple-pay-london-underground.jpg?itok=eA7des0Y' /></p> <p>Should you reside in the UK, you'll now be able to spend at most £30 on each transaction using Apple Pay (http://www.imore.com/apple-pay), as well as contactless cards. The limit for these types of payments was previously set to £20.</p> <!--break--> <p>Unfortunately, this new increase will require merchants to upgrade their terminals (http://www.imore.com/retailers-can-bypass-20-limit-apple-pay-transactions-uk) that are restricted to the £20 limitation (http://www.imore.com/apple-pay-transactions-initially-limited-20-after-launching-uk). As for consumers, there's absolutely nothing that needs changing on your end, simply head out to your favorite retail outlets that accept contactless and spend your hard-earned cash.</p> <p>While even £30 doesn't sound like a lot of money, the new limit at least covers the average spend in the supermarket of £25, according to The UK Cards Association.</p> <p>Source: BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-34110348)</p> </div></div></div><br clear='all'/> <a href="http://rc.feedsportal.com/r/238385066007/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/49772d31/sc/28/rc/1/rc.htm" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://rc.feedsportal.com/r/238385066007/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/49772d31/sc/28/rc/1/rc.img" border="0"/> <a href="http://rc.feedsportal.com/r/238385066007/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/49772d31/sc/28/rc/2/rc.htm" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://rc.feedsportal.com/r/238385066007/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/49772d31/sc/28/rc/2/rc.img" border="0"/> <a href="http://rc.feedsportal.com/r/238385066007/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/49772d31/sc/28/rc/3/rc.htm" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://rc.feedsportal.com/r/238385066007/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/49772d31/sc/28/rc/3/rc.img" border="0"/> <img src="http://da.feedsportal.com/r/238385066007/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/49772d31/sc/28/a2.img" border="0"/> (http://da.feedsportal.com/r/238385066007/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/49772d31/sc/28/a2.htm)<img width="1" height="1" src="http://pi.feedsportal.com/r/238385066007/u/49/f/616881/c/33998/s/49772d31/sc/28/a2t.img" border="0"/><img width='1' height='1' src='(http://tipb.com.feedsportal.com/c/33998/f/616881/s/49772d31/sc/28/mf.gif)' border='0'/><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/TheIphoneBlog/~4/vy16KZGMVtw" height="1" width="1" alt=""/> Source: You can now spend £30 on each transaction using Apple Pay in the UK (http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/TheIphoneBlog/~3/vy16KZGMVtw/story01.htm) |
