This time, it’s the iMac that’s allegedly getting an upgrade.</p><p> According to 9to5Mac (http://9to5mac.com/2015/10/06/apple-planning-to-launch-new-4k-21-5-inch-imacs-next-week/), Apple will announce a new 21.5-inch iMac with 4K Retina display next week, and these new Macs could be in stores as early as Tuesday, October 13. 9to5Mac originally reported (http://9to5mac.com/2015/09/03/4k-imac-october-november/) that these 4K iMacs would be announced in conjunction with the launch of OS X El Capitan.</p><p> Design-wise, these new models will be very similar to the non-4K iMacs, but will boast a 4096x2304 screen resolution. This exact screen resolution was first spotted in El Capitan Developer Beta (http://www.macworld.com/article/2940465/latest-el-capitan-beta-says-multi-touch-remote-and-21-5-inch-retina-4k-imac-coming-from-apple.html).
