               Musicians rejoice! IK Multimedia has released a major update to its acclaimed guitar and bass tone studio. AmpliTube 4 ($150 - $300) provides a whole new collection of exciting new gear along with with a whole set of new features, promising the most advanced speaker cabinet selection ever developed, entirely new speaker modeling, five new British amps, a new acoustic simulator pedal, built-in 8-track DAW, and much more. In the standard version of AmpliTube, you’ll get a total of 9 amps, 10 stomp boxes, 10 cabinets, 29 vintage and modern speaker models, 3 mics, 2 rack effects, and 2 tuners, and if you’ve purchased gear for the prior version, you can still use it in AmpliTube 4 by restoring it in the Custom Shop. Kicking it up a notch, AmpliTube 4 Deluxe ($300) adds on 100 pieces of additional gear for those who want a massive selection of creative processing options to choose from. Alternatively, users can opt for the a la carte option with AmpliTube Custom Shop — a free version of the app that lets you demo apps and purchase the specific gear you need individually.
