Facebook rumored to launch Notify app next week for fast news alerts

It is supposed to send alerts to users for news stories, and Facebook has reportedly entered into partnerships for Notify with many major news and media outlets.</p> <!--break--> <p>According to the Financial Times, some of the media outlets that will offer alerts for the Notify app include CNN, The Washington Post, and Mashable.
