Google has updated its main search app for iPhone and iPad, bringing along some handy new features in the form of 3D Touch and iPad multitasking support. With 3D Touch actions, you can get quick access to different search functions right from the icon. Additionally, holiday hours and information about the busiest times of day will now be displayed in searches for local businesses. Here's the official breakdown: 3D touch integration on iPhone 6s devices— hard press on the app icon to bring up quick shortcuts for search, voice search, and image search. Multitasking on iPad—use the Google app side-by-side with your other apps Search results for places and local businesses now include holiday hours and info on the busiest times of the day to help you avoid the crowds.
