Apple dominated holiday sales as it accounted for 49 percent of new device activations

As per Flurry Insights, which is backed by Yahoo, of all the smartphones that were activated during Christmas, Apple products accounted for 49.1 percent of them. Samsung came in a distant second with 19.8%, while Nokia (surprisingly) came in third with 2 percent share.
