Tesla hires chip expert who designed Apple’s A series processors

Tesla has snapped up microprocessor engineer Jim Keller as its new Vice President of Autopilot Hardware Engineering. Keller is the chip expert responsible for designing Apple’s A series processors, which power all of today’s iOS devices and the Apple TV.
