New Apple patent hints at pressure-sensitive Touch ID for iPhone and iPad

After introducing 3D Touch displays for the iPhone, Apple is looking to bring its pressure-sensing technology to Touch ID buttons, according to a new patent. The invention could make home buttons even more versatile on iOS devices.
