Apple hit with patent infringement suit over haptic feedback tech

Immersion, a company that develops haptic feedback technology, has filed a lawsuit against Apple alleging that several of the tech giant's recent products infringe on three of its patents. In particular, Immersion claims that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, and each version of the Apple Watch all infringe upon the following two patents: U.S. Patent No. 8,619,051: "Haptic Feedback System with Stored Effects" U.S. Patent No. 8,773,356: "Method and Apparatus for Providing Tactile Sensations" Immersion also claims that the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus specifically infringe upon a third patent relating to an "interactivity model for shared feedback on mobile devices." Immersion has filed a complaint with the International Trade Commission as well, asking for an exclusion order to prevent importation and sale of the named Apple devices in the U.S.. AT&amp;T is also named in the suit, although it's unclear as to why given the absence of a mention for other carriers. Sour...<br clear='all'/>
