Title: downgrading my itouch for a jailbreak
Post by: quick13silver69 on February 05, 2008, 08:34:56 am
Hello all ,
( this is my first forum ever so bare with me)
I have a major problem i did not think i would incounter while downgrading from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 on my i touch . i downloaded 1.1.1 from a site and then tried to option restore my itouch to load 1.1.1 (according to directions on a site i found) . It would be fine however the problem I'm having is that a while back my sister had a bunch of music i wanted on my computer so long story short i found a way for my computer to recognize her Ipod and its files so that i could take them off her Ipod and put them on my computer , thus letting me put them on my Ipod. the problem is that when i installed the software to let me do that it split up folders and let me see things that i wouldnt usually on my mac such as .Ds_Store and different stuff like that. so when i try and restore version 1.1.1 on my itouch it won't let me highlight all the files and/or it wont let me just {choose} the one firmware folder.  if you understand at all what im trying to say please help HELPPPP .

thanks Scott
