Tim Cook, tech execs, GOP leaders held secretive meeting on FBI, stopping Trump

Apple CEO Tim Cook reportedly recently joined a group of tech CEOs, politicians and otherwise high-profile figures at the American Enterprise Institute's annual World Forum to discuss how to stop Donald Trump in his bid for the Republican nomination. From The Huffington Post: Sources familiar with the meeting — who requested anonymity because the forum is off the record — said that much of the conversation around Trump centered on "how this happened, rather than how are we going to stop him," as one person put it. According to the report, Trump wasn't the only topic of discussion, as Cook was confronted concerning Apple's ongoing encryption dispute with the FBI: He wasn't the only topic of the wide-ranging conference, however. At one point, Cotton and Apple's Cook fiercely debated cell phone encryption, a source familiar with the exchange told HuffPost.
