Super Mario Run's always-on Internet requirement could ruin the fun for many gamers

When Super Mario Run (http://www.macworld.com/article/3118362/ios/nintendo-is-making-all-the-right-moves-with-super-mario-run.html) debuts on iOS next Thursday, players hoping to while away their subway commute with Nintendo’s runner game will be in for a shock. Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto—the creator of the Mario series—recently told Mashable (http://mashable.com/2016/12/08/super-mario-run-shigeru-miyamoto-interview/) that the game will require a persistent Internet connection to play.</p><p>
