Apple said to be seeking relaxed labeling laws in India as it plans manufacturing presence

<p>Apple has long been working with the Indian government (https://9to5mac.com/2016/05/21/tim-cook-modi-meeting-manufacturing/) to set up retail locations in the country, a task that’s rather challenging due to stringent regulation in the country. Now, The Economic Times reports (http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/tech/hardware/apple-seeks-relaxed-labelling-rules-doesnt-want-to-print-product-info-on-devices/articleshow/56229190.cms) that one concession Apple is fighting for in India is related labeling laws so it doesn’t have to print product info on devices.</p>
