Flying with AirPods: Airplane Mode, ambient noise, battery life, and more

<p>AirPods may not appear to be the best earphones solution for flying based on specs, but I found them to be near perfect on a recent flight across the country. AirPods (https://9to5mac.com/guides/airpods/) are a totally different product than my wireless Bose QC35s (https://www.amazon.com/Bose-QuietComfort-Wireless-Headphones-Cancelling/dp/B01E3SNO1G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;sr=1-1&amp;s=aht&amp;keywords=bose%2Bqc35&amp;tag=n003f1-20&amp;qid=1484668215) which have longer battery life and active noise cancellation not to mention superior audio quality, but AirPods were easily preferred as my travel earphones after real world testing for a few reasons.</p>
