Where to buy Nintendo Switch on launch day in the U.S.

Missed the Switch pre-order? You can still get one on launch day if you're fast!

If you were not one of the lucky few to get in on the Nintendo Switch preorder and have been waiting for that fateful day when you can rush the line and grab one off of the shelf, the day has come. Starting at 12:01 a.m., many game stores will be selling the Switch to the poor souls willing to stay up late and stand out in the freezing weather. If that is you, here are the places you can try.

Note: Speaking from personal experience waiting in line for something to go on sale at midnight, I recommend you show up no less than five hours before the sale. You'd be surprised how fast a line starts at these events, and the Switch has a lot of hype around it right now. So, grab a cup of coffee, a camping chair, and your 3DS and be prepared to settle in for a long wait.
