Kuo: Qualcomm’s In-Screen Fingerprint Solution Suffers from Slow Response Times, Far from Ready

Qualcomm announced its in-screen fingerprint scanner solution at Mobile World Congress Shanghai last week. It also partnered with Vivo to showcase a demo phone with the fingerprint sensor built-in. And while the company said in its press release that its Fingerprint scanner for displays will start showing up in devices from summer 2018, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo does not believe that to be the case.
