Apple Informing Developers in Some Countries of Updated Taxing Policies

Apple is sending out emails to developers based in Armenia, Belarus, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates to let them know that as of January 1, 2018, the company is collecting taxes on their behalf on app sales and in-app purchases. This step has been taken since the value added tax or VAT has been increased in some of these regions.
