Apple considering reimbursing customers who paid $79 for battery replacement

<p>Recode reports (https://www.recode.net/2018/2/6/16979200/apple-iphone-battery-replacement-discount-rebate-congress-senate-letter?utm_campaign=recode.net&amp;utm_content=chorus&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter) that Apple is looking into the possibility of reimbursing customers who have paid the full $79 for an iPhone battery replacement. Lawmaker Sen. John Thune asked Apple about the issue and the company says that it is exploring ways to do so.</p>
