Yes, the HomePod is a Siri enabled speaker which only works with Apple Music. But HomePod is also an AirPlay speaker. Which means you can use it as a speaker with any device that supports AirPlay – including your Mac. For this feature to work, both your Mac and HomePod will need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.
