Pokémon Go Events: What's now and what's next for 2018

Party-hat Pikachu ends today, Bulbasaur Community Day coming March 25, Kyogre and Groudon are back, joining Rayquaza for a week of Legendary Raids.

The next Pokémon Go Community Day with feature Dratini, 3x Stardust on catches, and the chance to evolve a Dragonite with Draco Meteor!

Pokémon Go is intended to get you out and about, both on your own and with family and friends. One of the ways Pokémon Go tries to bolster activity is with events. Some of the events get splashy announcements and coincide with big public holidays. Others are quieter and more regular. Here's what's happened already and what's coming up next.


   
 
 


 

Current Pokémon Go Events: Windy Weather Eggs, Raids, and 2x XP until March 16



Windy Weather — which empowers Dragon-, Flying-, and Psychic-type Pokémon — us getting a boost for the next week-and-half. That includes not only Pokémon Eggs but Raid Bosses. Oh, and double XP. Yeah.
