How Spotify’s new free tier could put a dent in Apple Music’s subscriber base

<p>As I was waiting for Spotify’s event (https://www.techhive.com/article/3269274/streaming-services/5-reasons-to-switch-from-spotify-premium-to-its-new-free-tier-and-5-reasons-not-to.html) to start Tuesday at the Gramercy Theater in New York City, I couldn’t help but notice a trend in the music that was playing inside the auditorium:</p><ul>
<li>I Want to Break Free</li>
<li>Set It All Free</li>
<li>Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)</li>
<li>I Feel Free</li>
<li>Young Hearts Run Free</li>
<li>I’m Free</li>
</ul>
<p>I have to assume I missed Free Fallin’.
