Intel reportedly expects Apple to start the Mac’s transition to ARM next year

<p>There have been several reports noting that Apple will be switching away from Intel (https://9to5mac.com/2018/10/17/apple-custom-chips-macs-apple-car/) processors for its Mac lineup in favor of its own in-house ARM chips as soon as 2020. Axios is today reporting (https://www.axios.com/apple-macbook-arm-chips-ea93c38a-d40a-4873-8de9-7727999c588c.html) that several developers and Intel officials also expect the move as early as next year.</p>
