AT&T’s Randall Stephenson discusses HBO’s deal w/ Apple, claims HBO gets viewer data in return

<p>Apple on Monday announced its all-new TV app for Apple TV (https://9to5mac.com/2019/03/25/apple-tv-app-upgrade-subscriptions/), including the new “Channels” feature for subscribing to third-party services through the TV app. Apple touts that the TV protects user privacy, but one streaming executive says they still get data back through the partnership.</p>
