College students accused of profiting $1M worth of iPhones through counterfeit repair scheme

<p>According to a report from The Oregonian (https://www.oregonlive.com/crime/2019/04/counterfeit-apple-iphone-scam-tied-to-china-oregon-college-students-feds-allege.html), two Chinese engineering students allegedly scammed Apple out of nearly $1 million worth of iPhone replacements. The two are now facing criminal charges in federal court, the report says.</p>
