Trump Administration Is Exploring Possibility of Outlawing End-to-End Encryption

In yet another blow to privacy, Trump administration is exploring the possibility of banning end-to-end encryption, a privacy measure used on services like Facetime, WhatsApp, and Telegram. The discussion was the focus on a National Security Council meeting between officials of numerous key agencies.
