Apple’s Q3 2019 earnings show that sales for everything is growing—except the iPhone

<p>Apple announced its <a href="https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190730006036/en/Apple-Reports-Quarter-Results" rel="nofollow">third-quarter results for FY 2019[/url], and once again sales are strong for everything that isn’t an iPhone. Sales for Macs, iPads, Services, and Wearables were all up year over year, leading to <a href="https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2019/07/apple-reports-third-quarter-results/" rel="nofollow">Apple strongest June quarter on record[/url], but just barely. All said, the company posted an increase of one percent over the year-ago quarter.</p><p>However, iPhone sales continue to drag on the company. Revenue from the handset dipped more than 10 percent from Q3 2018, posting roughly $26 billion in revenue versus $29.5 billion during the same quarter last year.
