Switch owners — you need this microSD card

Best answer: If you're downloading games digitally, you should go for no less than a 64GB microSD card.

Games are only getting bigger

If you're planning on downloading your games digitally, you should try to aim for the biggest microSD card you can afford. Nintendo Switch games are launching with bigger and bigger file sizes every week. From open world games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild to games jam-packed with characters like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, you will eventually find yourself quickly running out of space.

Our recommendation is to go no smaller than 64GB. This is a comfortable size that would allow you to hold a couple of big games at around 14GB each, a couple of medium-sized games at around half that mark, and a smattering of smaller games to fill out the bottom (or use that space for another big game or two).

You should expect to do some shuffling in the future at that size. As long as you are OK regular...
