Is two-player co-op for Pokemon Sword & Shield possible?

Best answer: So far, there has been no mention of a two-player co-op mode. However, there is a four-player mode that involves players teaming up to take on powerful Pokemon as well as cooking curry together.

What does the co-op involve?

In Pokemon Sword & Shield, there is a new 'max raid battles' mode where four players can team up to take on a special super-powered 'Dynamaxed' Pokemon. This mode is accessible via Nintendo Switch Online or by using a local wireless connection. This mode is available wherever you see a purple light in the 'Wild area' in-game. So, you could invite three friends over and then take on this challenge together!

There is also the option to visit a Pokemon Camp. Here one player can set up a camp that other players can visit, interact with one another, play games with their Pokemon, and most crucially help make a nice pot of warm curry together.
