Rumor: new fourth-gen iPad Air available for preorder on October 16th

<p>The yet-to-be-released iPad Air 4 (https://9to5mac.com/2020/09/17/hands-on-videos-showcase-colorful-new-ipad-air-design-touch-id-in-the-top-button-more/) was only given a head nod during today’s iPhone 12 event (https://9to5mac.com/2020/10/13/apple-iphone-12-event-live-blog/), with no mention of an official release date by Apple leadership. However, Jon Prosser (https://twitter.com/jon_prosser/status/1316092311567323147), who has a pretty good track record when it comes to leaking Apple hardware release dates, indicates that he’s 100% sure that iPad Air preorders will begin on October 16th, launching a week later on the 23rd.</p>
