Gurman: Apple rapidly expanding outside of Silicon Valley as it struggles to recruit and retain talent

<p>Amid pushback regarding Apple’s plans to return to in-person work (https://9to5mac.com/2021/06/05/re-apple-remote-work/) this fall, Mark Gurman at Bloomberg reports that Apple is “ramping up efforts to decentralize out of Silicon Valley.” In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/newsletters/2021-07-04/apple-hq-is-no-longer-the-center-of-the-company-s-universe-kqpi2879), Gurman reports that Apple has faced a variety of problems recruiting and retaining talent because of its emphasis on Silicon Valley. </p>
