IMDb TV has new mobile apps for streaming free TV shows and movies.

Amazon-owned IMDb TV now has dedicated streaming apps, bringing TV shows and movies to viewers for free and with fewer ads than traditional services.

Previously known as IMDb Freeride, the service already has apps for Chromecast, Google TV, PlayStation, and Smart TVs but those wanting to watch on mobile devices had to dig into the IMDb app to find the content they want to watch. As reported by Variety, that's no longer the case.


  Amazon-owned IMDb originally launched the free service as Freedive in January 2019, before redubbing it IMDb TV.
