App Store targeted by bipartisan bill in US House focused on increasing competition

<p>Earlier this week, a group of bipartisan US senators (https://9to5mac.com/2021/08/11/bipartisan-bill-would-force-apple-to-allow-third-party-app-stores-and-sideloading-on-ios/) introduced a sweeping piece of legislation taking aim at Apple’s App Store. The US House of Representatives is now following suit, with a group of bipartisan representatives introducing a similar companion bill dubbed the Open App Markets Act.</p>
