iFixit: New MacBook Pro has first ‘DIY-friendly’ battery replacement design since 2012

<p>Following yesterday’s release (https://9to5mac.com/2021/10/26/14-inch-macbook-pro-hands-on/) of the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, the folks at iFixit have shared (https://www.ifixit.com/News/54122/macbook-pro-2021-teardown?utm_content=buffer14eb6&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter.com&amp;utm_campaign=buffer) an early look at their teardown of the new machines. In a teaser posted today, iFixit says that the new MacBook Pro has the “first reasonably DIY-friendly battery replacement procedure since 2012.” </p>
