Apple Music's Siri-only Voice Plan is coming with iOS 15.2

What you need to know


The Voice Plan gives people access to Apple Music via Siri voice commands for just $4.99.
iOS 15.2 Release Candidate release notes say the tier will be available with the update.

Apple Music's new Voice Plan will go live with iOS 15.2, giving people a way to listen to music via Siri voice commands for just $4.99 per month. The feature is designed for people who use HomePods but will also be available for iPhone and other Apple devices. Voice Plan subscribers won't be able to use the traditional Apple Music app, however.

Apple's Voice Plan was announced alongside its new colorful HomePods back in October, and the new iOS 15.2 Release Candidate's release notes say it will be available when the update ships to everyone.

Apple says that users will even be able to sign up using Siri, too.
