Apple could get its wish for a federal privacy law by the end of this year

However, a compromise could potentially see it introduced by the end of the year.</p>



<p><a href="https://9to5mac.com/guides/aapl/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Apple[/url] has been calling for Congress to pass a <a href="https://9to5mac.com/guides/gdpr/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GDPR[/url]-style privacy law since at least 2018, but little progress has been made since then.
