What will it take for Apple TV+ to finally be a hit?

Apple TV+ (https://www.apple.com/apple-tv-plus/) launched in 2019, yet in those five years it’s barely moved the needle in becoming a major streaming player. TV+ has hit series like Ted Lasso (https://tv.apple.com/us/show/ted-lasso/umc.cmc.vtoh0mn0xn7t3c643xqonfzy), Severance (https://tv.apple.com/us/show/severance/umc.cmc.1srk2goyh2q2zdxcx605w8vtx), and Silo (https://tv.apple.com/us/show/silo/umc.cmc.3yksgc857px0k0rqe5zd4jice). It has critically successful movies like CODA (https://tv.apple.com/us/movie/coda/umc.cmc.3eh9r5iz32ggdm4ccvw5igiir) and Killers of the Flower Moon (https://tv.apple.com/us/movie/killers-of-the-flower-moon/umc.cmc.5x1fg9vferlfeutzpq6rra1zf). But for all the quality content on the service, it still has nowhere near the following of Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, or even Max or Peacock. So what’s the fix? What will it take for Apple TV+ to break through and finally become a hit?
