Bloomberg: Apple scraps plans to offer iPhone hardware subscription service

Bloomberg reports (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-12-18/apple-halts-long-running-effort-to-build-iphone-hardware-subscription-service) that the goal was “to make owning an iPhone like subscribing to an app,” but the project was “recently wound down.” </p>
