The company started (https://9to5mac.com/2023/03/31/gm-carplay-support-ev/) by ditching CarPlay in its EVs, but recently confirmed (https://9to5mac.com/2025/10/22/gm-removing-carplay-from-more-cars-bizarrely-citing-steve-jobs-as-inspiration/) that it will “gradually” abandon the platform on more cars in the future.
