Title: HP DV6-2142nr Post by: carvetighter on May 01, 2011, 05:26:08 am I'm having trouble getting started. I don't know if my HP is compatible or not for OS X 10.6.6. Below are the specs. It doesn't seem to match the motherboard specifications on the osx86project.org wiki. I've used iBoot and another boot disk but the BIOS doesn't want to boot from the CD ROM. I've changed my boot order but I can't disable the hard drive boot option. Does anybody have an idea on how to solve this problem? I can live with my HP not being compatible but I thought I would ask for help before I give up. Also, I can't find the exact motherboard for my HP. It only gives me the processor.
