Apple Exploring Device With Swappable Camera Lenses
      


         
         
      Apple hasn’t typically made any components of its mobile devices interchangeable or even removable, apart from the SIM card slot. The iPhone was one of the first few devices to have non-removable batteries and no SD memory slot.
That doesn’t mean that Apple isn’t open to the idea of swappable components though. A new patent application from Apple reveals that the company is exploring possibilities of an iPhone with a removable back panel that would let owners swap camera lenses, making the already good optics on the iPhone much better.
