Click to embiggen image. In the latest email sent to Steve Jobs from Dennis Sellers at Macsimum News, a question is asked regarding the recent Newsweek article wondering if the Mac is dead. The post on Newsweek written by Daniel Lyons reads, "Dear Macintosh, I hate to tell you this, but my guess is you’ve probably been sensing it already. I don’t know any good way to say it so let me just be blunt: You’ve been dropped. Dumped. It’s over. The future of Apple is no longer centered around the Macintosh. You Mac guys just got kicked to the curb, relegated to the steaming dung heap of the past. I’m sorry, dear old Mac, but your ex-boyfriend Steve has moved on.â€Steve, of course, responds to the email saying, "Completely wrong. Just wait."Here's the full email:Email to Steve from Dennis Sellers:Mr. Jobs,Newsweek just ran an "obituary" for the Mac (see http://www.newsweek.com/blogs/techtonic-shifts/2010/06/08/does-apple-s-iphone-4-signal-the-death-of-the-macintosh.html ), saying the Mac has been "relegated to the steaming dung heap of the past." I hope he's wrong. I believe and hope that the Mac will remain a vibrant, vital part of Apple's future and one of its (admittedly man) product lines. So, as you view it, does the Mac have a long and important history ahead of it? DennisEmail Response from Steve:Completely wrong. Just wait.
