They like Apple! They really like Apple! “They,” in this case, being the education industry and Fortune. Just not that one British judge. Oh well, can’t win ‘em all! You wouldn’t like the remainders for Thursday, February 28, 2013 when they’re angry.


Apple Has Sold Over 8M iPads Direct To Education Worldwide, With More Than 1B iTunes U Downloads (TechCrunch)


In addition to Apple’s impressive 1 billion download mark for iTunes U, the company’s also apparently doing a not too shabby job of selling iPads to educational institutions—so far, the number’s around 8 million. Kids today—when I was in school, the only tablets we had were made out of clay.
