It has been widely speculated that iOS 7 will feature a flatter design. The overhaul is being led by Jony Ive, Apple’s SVP of Industrial Design, who also provides leadership and direction for Human Interface software teams across the company after Scott Forstall’s departure. Bloomberg reports that Apple runs the risk of delaying the release of iOS 7 due to the revamped user interface and increase in collaboration between hardware and software divisions under Ive.
